The SUPER mom

I had to give a giant shout out to my sister for being a SUPER mom! Meagan has helped us out by watching Sloane. I don't know how she does it.....she always has a servant heart and I'm constantly amazed. We struggled a lot in Lincoln with finding childcare; it was a big stress for us.  Having Aunt Meagy watch Sloane is beyond our expectations.  We can see God's hand in AR once again:)

This is going to VBS last week...can't believe they're that big!

My girl

Lately, I have been thinking about how blessed we are to have time with Sloane. Now that I am done with school, I have so much more time to spend with her. Even though we both work full time, our evenings are open to do whatever we please.  This is such a wonderful concept! Usually we go swim, bike, walk, jog, play in the sand or whatever. She is a laid back kiddo and is open to whatever as long as she's busy! Love her so much!

The Naturals

We got a chance to go to one of the Naturals games last night. The stadium is less than a mile from our place which makes it extremely convenient. We had a blast. Sloane had fun just having mommy and daddy to herself. She won't walk unless she is holding each of our hands. We spent a lot of the time chasing Sloane all around but wouldn't have it any other way! So fun to see so much energy. Such a wonderful family time.

This is Sloane climbling on anything and everything....such a little adventurer!
Meeting the mascot....not quite sure what to think.

Soccer Ball!!!

Sloane says soccer ba, soccer ba, soccer ba over and over! She loves to play. We found a soccer field just a couple blocks from us. I think it might become a new favorite activity!

We love our nights!

Sand volleyball for the parents....playing for Sloane:)

Sloane loves to look for golf balls!

Went on a swim with dad!

We are liking where we live.  At first, it was a little disappointing living in another apartment. We were thinking we were going to get a house, but realized it was unrealistic to find the perfect one and close before I started work. This apartment opened up and it has been fun. It's on a golf course and has beach volleyball, swimming, basketball courts, and workout facility. It is perfect for us Swanson's....there is always something to do:) We spend every night outside and I wouldn't want it any other way! God always provides....it's just not always what we have in mind. Finding joy in all circumstances:)

Week 1

This week has been a bit of a rough week.  I am liking the clinic I work at. It just takes awhile to adjust to it and to full time. I always think full time is going to be a breeze, but I’m always amazed how challenging it can be. Up at 5 to squeeze a workout in and then out the door by 7:15a.m. and home around 6p.m.  I have been completely exhausted by the end of day, but hopefully I can learn to use the time I have at home more efficiently.   I think once I work on some crock pot meals it will be less stressful as well.  Growing up is hard, but I’m thankful for a great jobJ Mike doesn’t start work for another week so he has been doing some fun activities with Sloane and exploring the area.

Mike, Luke, and I going to work out in our work out room.

At our playground
She loves the slide

Shakes, shakes, shakes!
More shakes....feels like summer!
Helping daddy make Sloane's fav...pancakes!
